Welcome to AlleppeyBoatStay.in. By booking and using our houseboat services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming your reservation.

1. Bookings & Prices
- Availability – All bookings are subject to the availability. We reserve the right to decline or cancel bookings at our discretion.
- Pricing – Prices include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Rates may vary based on seasonality, promotions, or operational factors.
- Children’s Policy – Children below 5 years may be eligible for discounts, depending on the booking details.

2. Payments, Refunds & Credits
- Payment Terms – A deposit or full payment is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance, if any, must be paid at check-in.
- Refunds – Refunds are processed in line with our Cancellation & Refund Policy. No refunds will be issued for no-shows or unused services.
- Credits – In case of cancellations initiated by us, booking credits may be provided under specific conditions.

3. Changes to Bookings
- Changes by Guest – Any changes must be requested in writing and are subject to availability. Additional fees may apply.
- Changes by Operator – We may modify bookings due to operational, safety, or unforeseen circumstances. Guests will be notified promptly in such cases.

4. Cancellations
- Guest Cancellations – Refunds are based on the timing of the request:
- 15 days or more before departure – Full refund, minus an administrative fee of ₹1500.
- 7 to 14 days before departure – 50% refund of the total booking amount.
- Less than 7 days before departure – No refund will be provided.
- Operator Cancellations – If we cancel your booking, a full refund or alternative arrangement will be provided.

5. Inclusions & Services

Deluxe Houseboats
- Check-in / Check-out – 12:00 Noon (check-in) and 9:00 AM (check-out).
- Air Conditioning – Available from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM bedroom AC.
- Meals – All-inclusive plan with welcome Drink, lunch, Tea & snacks, dinner, and breakfast.

Premium Houseboats
- Check-in / Check-out – 12:00 Noon (check-in) and 9:00 AM (check-out).
- Air Conditioning – Full Time AC possible on-demand service.
- Meals – All-inclusive plan with welcome Drink, lunch, Tea & snacks, dinner, and breakfast.
- Experience – Larger boats with premium interiors, upgraded amenities, and professional staff.

Luxury Houseboats
- Check-in / Check-out – 12:00 Noon (check-in) and 9:00 AM (check-out).
- Air Conditioning – Full Time AC available.
- Meals – All-inclusive plan with welcome Drink, lunch, Tea & snacks, dinner, and breakfast.
- Experience – Larger boats with Luxury Ambiance, Luxurious Food menu, upgraded amenities, professional staff and Luxury Service.

General (Applicable to All Houseboats)
- Cruising Hours – Boats anchor by 5:00 PM and resume cruising at 8:00 AM, in compliance with Kerala Government regulations.

6. Trip Operation & Safety
- Safety Briefing – Mandatory safety instructions will be given at the time of boarding.
- Weather Conditions – Trips may be rescheduled or adjusted for guest safety in case of adverse weather.

7. Guest Participation
- Conduct – Guests must follow houseboat staff instructions and safety rules. Failure to comply may result in termination of services without refund.
- Health & Fitness – Guests should be reasonably fit for the trip and must inform us in advance of any medical conditions.

8. Liability & Legal Terms
- Liability – We are not responsible for personal injury, loss, or damage unless caused by proven negligence on our part.
- Force Majeure – We are not liable for disruptions caused by events beyond our control (natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, etc.).
- Jurisdiction – These terms are governed by the laws of India, with any disputes subject to the courts of Alleppey, Kerala.
- Policy Updates – Terms & Conditions may be updated periodically. The version applicable is the one in effect at the time of booking.
