1. Cancellation Policy

1.1 Cancellation by Guest
- 15 days or more before departure – Full refund, minus an administrative fee of ₹1500 .
- 7 to 14 days before departure – 50% refund of the total booking amount.
- Less than 7 days before departure – No refund will be provided.

1.2 No-Show Policy
If a guest fails to arrive on the scheduled departure date without prior notice, no refund will be issued.

2.1 Processing Refunds
- Refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days of receiving the cancellation request.
- The refund will be credited to the original payment method used at the time of booking.
- For payments made via debit/credit card, additional time may be required depending on your bank’s processing timeline.

2.2 Partial Refunds
If a guest shortens their trip after the houseboat cruise has started, no refund will be issued for the unused portion of the stay.

3. Changes to Booking

3.1 Rescheduling
- Guests may request to reschedule their booking up to 14 days before the scheduled departure , subject to availability.
- Rescheduling requests made within 14 days of departure will incur a ₹1500 rescheduling fee , and the rates may vary depending on the new dates.

3.2 Itinerary Changes
Any itinerary changes requested by guests may involve additional charges, depending on availability and the nature of the request.

4. Cancellation by AlleppeyBoatStay.in

4.1 Weather & Unforeseen Circumstances
In the event of:
- Severe weather conditions
- Government restrictions
- Other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control
We may cancel your booking. In such cases, you will receive:
- A full refund of the booking amount, OR
- An option to reschedule at no extra cost.

4.2 Operational Reasons
If a cancellation occurs due to operational issues (such as technical/mechanical problems with the houseboat), guests will be offered:
- A full refund, OR
- The option to reschedule their trip.
